Best Online Grammer Apps and Extension in 2021

Unless you work for a news organization or large company, it is unlikely that you will have access to a copy editor. That does not mean you can’t get any help proofreading your presentation, essay or brief. I have rounded up some of the best and easy to use grammar apps and extensions online.

Microsoft Word and Google Docs have built-in basic spelling and grammar checkers. But they do miss a lot of grammar rules.

This is where the web apps and extensions mentioned here will come in handy. I like to combine 2 or 3 apps to proofread my text. Also, I am not including Grammarly or Hemingway Editor in this list, as there are plenty of reviews and content about them already.

Keep in mind, this is not a flawless technique. A copy editor or proofreader will triumph over these AI-based tools. Students should also try to take advantage of their college writing centers.
